Announcing you: C it and B part of it or ACBshow.com is an internet shopping show hosted by Kathy Dow and Lorraine Baratta which gives kitchen table entrepreneurs and basement inventors an outlet to the world.
The show's hosts, Kathy and Lorraine, first collaborated in 2002 on an evening gown for Kathy. At the time, Lorraine was a successful wedding gown designer and Kathy a writer and publisher. They blended their visions to create the gown, but what really developed was a friendship and mutual support for one another's passion as entrepreneurs.
By 2004 Lorraine had evolved from gowns to jewelry and started her exclusive and exquisite ladies line of "one of a kind" jewelry under Lorraine Baratta Designs, LLC. Kathy was continuing to market her self published children's book, Low-Down Dirty Words.
While home shows, book signings, private parties and word of mouth networking combined to build a strong local following, the two women decided there had to be a more powerful way to reach their target market en masse. The Internet of course! With millions of viewers online everyday the Internet was the perfect vehicle. |
Heads together, the two confirmed that not only did they need to reach audiences far and wide but they wanted to help other entrepreneurs do the same. Benevolent giving and charity were already extensions of their companies so extending a hand to fellow inventors and creators was natural. In a partnership between their companies, Baratta's Enterprises, LLC and Dow & Dow Production/Management LLC, the two entrepreneurs created "Announcing You: C it and be Part of It," an Internet shopping program that showcases new inventions and other businesses.
Their mission: to blast open a pipeline tapping into the cyber world market for other entrepreneurs passionate about their work and needing an outlet to market their inventions, creations, and designs. The idea is simple: kitchen table, basement and garage workshops brought into your home or office via the Internet. On the ACBshow.com internet shopping show, hundreds of entrepreneurs introduce their inventions without waiting for the rare, once in a lifetime chance to be tapped for a bigger home shopping network opportunity or reality TV. It gives inventors publicity on a wide scale by creating a 6-7 minute interview and introduction of their product. The long arm of the Internet will do the rest.
Buyers interested in products seenon ACBshow.com are directed to that entrepreneur’s web site for purchase. The show introduces three new entrepreneurs each day, five days a week. On weekends there is a rebroadcast of the week's interviews and all products carchived for future reference.
